MARQUEES Location - Central London
Event – A semi permanent awning over a third floor decking which covers a central atrium. Marquee – An aluminium frame tent with clear PVC roof and wall panels. The frame has been powder coated in light green to match the colour of the existing balustrade.

Location – Cornwall
Event - A new venue created for weddings and parties. The marquee extends the area of the ground floor to make an ideal setting for events up to 70 guests. Marquee – An aluminium frame tent with bespoke guttering system against the house. Clear PVC wall panels allow a view of the beautiful valley below. The interior is decorated with a simple calico lining.

Event – Wedding for 130 guests set in a meadow Marquee – Traditional pole marquee in white canvas with natural coconut matting floor. The walls have been removed on two sides. The “country feel” has been enhanced by the use of long trestle tables with wood folding chairs. As the wedding continued into the evening, the marquee was lit using wrought iron chandeliers. A simple white lining provided the back drop for vibrant orange and green decorative theme.

Event – Wedding for 150 guests in a garden Marquee – An aluminium frame tent 12m wide on boarded floor. The interior pleated ivory lining was finished with deep red swags matched to the seat pads on the chairs and napkins. As the event was just before Christmas subtle lighting was used mixing low level overhead lighting with halogen uplighters around the perimeter. Several heating units were positioned to provide even heat throughout the marquee.

Event – Wedding for 350 guests in a garden Marquee – An aluminium frame tent was erected on a boarded floor. The floor was finished with black and white tiles. A white lining was furnished with black swags and individual hand painted murals. White round backed chairs with white seat pads continued the effect of crisp white linen tablecloths and napkins.

Event – Dinner dance for 140 guests Marquee – An aluminium frame tent erected on boarded floor. The interior was decorated to give the feel of a nightclub. Black lining to the roof and walls was contrasted by gold framed banqueting chairs and gold decorations. Precise pools of light were directed as desired by using low voltage pin spots with different beam widths.

Event – Mid summer birthday party for 160 guests Marquee – The reception marquee was located behind an arbour full with roses. The sweet scent of roses filled the air as the guests entered the aluminium reception tent. Clear window panels exposed the view of the Chilterns beyond. The reception marquee was intentionally light and airy using cream carpet and calico lining. This contrasted with the dining marquee which enclosed a statue and fountain. To maximise the impact of the lighting on the fountain the dining marquee was lined and floored in black.

Event – Party for 80 guests Marquee – The client wished to provide a simple “umbrella” effect to protect guests in case of rain. The two aluminium frame tents were laid out to connect the house and garden together. The marquees were designed to complement the garden space.
